Persuasive writing
17th Nov 2025
In Literacy we have been learning how to make a piece of writing engaging, eye-catching and attractive. We thought about how alliteration, onomatopoeia and adjectives can help sell an idea or product. Some ideas were: “Sugar rush”, “Delicious doughnuts”, “Happy hamsters” , “Rando’s not Nando’s” and “Winter wonderland”. The class worked together initially to think of different ideas before individual choosing an idea that best suited them.
