Our final visitor to help support the November topic of People Who Help Us was Jill, a dentist. She told us all about baby teeth, adult teeth, our gums, the big moving chairs and lights in the dental surgery, brushing our teeth and gums twice every day and how to use disclosing tablets. Jill brought some massive teeth and tooth brushes and we practiced brushing the big teeth. Jill explained why dentists wear face masks and how there’s no need to be scared when visiting the dentist. Jill kindly gave the children each a pack with stickers, a tooth brushing chart, toothpaste, a mini mirror, an information leaflet and a disclosing tablet.
