London 2026
💂P7 London Trip 2026 - Day 1💂
The day started with an early morning flight from Belfast International to London Luton. A short drive down the motorway to the incredible Warner Bros Studios (Harry Potter World). We watched in awe, bought some wands and even tried our hand as foley artists in an interactive workshop. After that, we travelled into North London and settled into our hotel. With our bellies filled, we headed out again for some Lazer Quest before returning for a dessert supper.
🤴👑P7 London Trip 2026 - Day 2 👑🤴
How would we follow up Day 1? Bigger and better!
We started with a traditional English Breakfast in our hotel. An early start meant we beat the traffic to Buckingham Palace. It was good to see the King had received the message ISPS were in town and made sure he was in residence. We then walked from Buckingham Palace along St James’s Park to House of Parliament. We met our guides and had a wonderful morning, even meeting our local MP Gregory Campbell. We finished with a workshop hosted by the Parliament staff.
Next, we took a coach across the city to have a sit down lunch at the Guildhall with some of The Irish Society’s Governors. We finished at the Guildhall with a guided tour of London’s Roman amphitheater. Then it was back onto the bus to the Tower of London. We watched a changing of the guard, checked the Crown Jewels were safely stored away, ensured the ravens hadn’t escaped and then headed to our boat cruise.
Our boat trip took us past many of London’s most famous sites to our dinner destination for some fine Italian cuisine. Filled up with pizzas and bolognese, we watched The Lion King, a show nearly as good as last year’s Matilda production at ISPS.
🔭⚽️ London Day 3 ⚽️🔭
Our last day in London! After a hearty breakfast, we waved goodbye to the hotel and met our driver Hugh, a big Spurs fan! We travelled back into the city for our WonderLab experience at the incredible Science Museum. After a great session, we hopped back onto the bus and headed northwards towards the airport. First we made a stop at the incredible Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Rumours of Mr M’s imminent appointment as the new manager were thankfully not true but we had a great time seeing one of Europe’s newest stadiums. This was our last stop, fuelled by a Burger King we then boarded our flight. Our return bus trip was emotional but we were glad to get home to a snowy Coleraine and lots of welcoming hugs and smiles.
What a trip! A wonderful P7 cohort. A huge thank you to our ten members of staff.
Over and out from ISPS London!
